Kickstarting the “Rising Gem” pack, Nike’s latest iteration of the infamous Mercurial range, sees the Swoosh brand usher in a new era of irridescence.
Accomodating an “Atmosphere Grey/Black” colourway that dares to be as bold as the players destined to take flight in the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 and Copa Americas, the “Rising Gem” Mercurial is set to be a showstopper…
Fusing atmospheric light grey with contrasting deep blacks and signature “AIR” branding strapped alongside the boot’s upper, the Nike Mercurial Rising Gem boots ooze with nostalgia.
Echoing the Mercurial Vapor boots sported by the legendary Ronaldo De Lima in the 2002 World Cup, the 2024 Mercurials trade the glossy metallic finish for a subdued matte grey. The iridescence is repositioned onto the soleplate, enhanced by chrome accents and bursts of iridescent pink on the Air Zoom Unit.
This design choice not only adds visual appeal but also underscores the boot’s distinctive speed-boosting attributes.
Nike Phantom
Continuing the sentiment of the “Rising Gem” Pack, the Phantom Luna & GX II football boots carry on the sleek “Atmosphere Grey/Black” colourway, with a more pronounced “Swoosh” exhibiting a diamond-like formation that glimmers under the spotligh, shining bright with every twist and turn.
To the soleplate, the pops of irridescent pink and tones of amythyst purple return, this time dominating the Luna’s Cyclone360 Soleplate for a clean look that accentuates the boot’s unique properties, all while exhibiting class in its finest form.
Nike Tiempo Legend 10
Last in the line-up we have the Nike Tiempo Legend 10, carrying over the signature “Atmosphere Grey/Black” colourway for the upper as seen on the Nike Mercurial & Phantom Luna.
In a bid to acknowledge the “Rising Gem(s)” on the football field, the Nike Swoosh continues to dazzle with its 3D embossed detailing and shimmering soleplate that is iridescent and subtly contrasting to the colours incorporated on the Mercurial & Phantom range.
While purple hues undeniably remain, the Tiempo Legend 10 adopts pops of iridescent greens, blues and pinks, adding just a splash more colour to the soleplate than seen on the Mercurial and Phantom for a look that truly has to be seen to believed.
